Delete your account

You can delete your KOP account and all your data whenever you want, by yourself and without asking anyone.

From the app

Open KOP and go to Profile › About.
Scroll down to Delete my account.
Confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

What is deleted

Everything that is yours is removed from our servers:

The account and the phone number you sign in with.
Your complete work orders: event history, photos, voice notes and captured data.
The reports generated, both Markdown and PDF.
Your name, your settings and your work order templates.

No "deactivated" copy is kept: there is no grace period and no way to recover the content afterwards, so download or share any report you want to keep before deleting.

Crash reports and usage analytics carry neither your name nor your phone, only a pseudonymous identifier that no longer matches anyone once the account is deleted; they expire according to the retention periods of Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics.

The organizations you administer

If you are the only admin of an organization, that organization is deleted with your account: with no admin, nobody would be left who could manage it. Its work orders, reports, templates, knowledge and places go with it, its members' included, and they lose access immediately. If you want it to survive, name another admin before deleting your account.

From organizations where somebody else is still administering, only your membership disappears: their work is theirs and it stays where it is.

Reports you already shared with a customer are a file in their hands; we have no control over that copy.

If you cannot use the app

If you lost access to your phone or cannot open the app, write to kop@kopproject.com from your account's number or email and we will handle it.
